FAQ

Do I need a passport to go to Italy?

Yes! US Passports must be valid 6 months past the date of when you will leave Europe to head home. Please double check your passport expiration date!

Can I bring a plus one?

Unless indicated on your invitation, we are sadly unable to accommodate additional guests. We would like to keep our wedding as intimate as possible with close family and friends. Thank you for understanding.

Is there a dress code for the wedding day?

Dress code is black-tie. Colors are encouraged! Gowns for the ladies and tuxedos or suits for gentlemen.

Is there a dress code for the welcome party?

Dress code is La Dolce Vita cocktail attire. If you need outfit inspiration, please reference the "Attire" page!

Will my phone work in Italy?

In order for your phone to work, we strongly suggest you contact your provider BEFORE traveling and ask for an international travel plan. For example, AT&T charges $10 a day for unlimited talk, text & data while abroad. Without doing so, your phone will only work on WiFi, however, you MUST turn Cellular Data off to avoid high roaming charges.

Are events taking place on the grass?

All events will have elements occurring on grass or uneven surfaces. Ladies, please keep this in mind when selecting your footwear!

ANY MORE TIPS?

1. We highly recommend putting AirTags in your luggage for peace of mind. You can purchase them HERE & they link directly to your phone!

2. Make sure you purchase a European Travel Adapter for your electronics that plug into the wall. These can be purchased HERE.

3. Check and RECHECK your passport expiration date! You can NOT travel to Italy if your passport is 6 months or less from expiring (from the date you plan to travel home).

4. All of Italy accepts credit cards, but for smaller stores, taxis and tipping, it's always good to have Euros on hand. We recommend going to your bank before you travel to get Euros in order to avoid transaction fees.

5. If you will need to contact anyone with a european phone number such as a restaurant, taxi service, etc., we recommend downloading WhatsApp for ease of communication. Most Italians use WhatsApp and can be contacted via call or text on this platform.
